I. Call to Order/Attendance – Terri, Laurie, Elaine, Kim, Beth, Janel and Kendra. Meeting commenced
at 6:06pm.
II. Devotion and prayer Led by Laurie – Heather Dean, A Loving Unknown

III. Administration
A. Approve Prior Month’s Minutes- Approve minutes of last meeting. Janel motioned, Terri
seconded to approve the October 14, 2025, minutes. Passed unanimously.
B. Treasurer’s Report – Approve the treasurer’s report for October. Kendra motioned, Laurie
seconded to approve the report. Passed unanimously.
IV. Previous Business (compilation of issues from the past six months):
A. Fall Workday – Decided to have an impromptu day to remove leaves.
Potential date:
In charge: (Have to do list, make sure equipment and supplies needed are available, etc.)
Wash windows- inside and outside
Clean cobwebs, weeds and debris on the outside the church buildings
Spot clean carpets for wine stains
Dust all rooms/fixture/furniture
Clean stairways

Lawn-Rod Ohrt to mow & mulch this week
Liz- interested in extra work. Checking on – additional leaf removal, window washing,
power wash educational building, gutter cleaning, etc.
B. Bishop Current Fellowship event and worship
November 16 2-4pm Faith Lutheran Church 500 W Le Claire Rd, Eldridge, IA 52748
Anyone wishing to carpool meet behind church at 1pm
V. New Business
A. Annual Meeting Preparation – Terri, February 8th
Sunday February 1, 8 (Superbowl 5:30pm), 15 (Valentine’s Weekend) or 22 nd
Previously 2/16.
Need to put in bulletins, newsletter, etc at least twice before February 8 th date.
Committee reports will need to be submitted by 1/10.

Potential new council members. Terri and Janel cycle off (end of 2nd consecutive 3yr term)
Potential officers for 2026 council.
B. Budget – 2026 (Laurie) Financial Committee will have a budget by December for review.
Estimating a $6,000 raise at this time.
C. SAM Updates – Laurie
Upcoming Training – Boundary Training in Cedar Rapids last week. Meeting with Sydney
Chambliss for baptism on December 7 th . Christmas Eve service will be all three SAMS will be
together. December 28 th service will not have organist. Will be working on some sort of
bible study or dinner church for Lent. Peace be with you shawl and quilt thru Synod. January
11 th , online ted talks regarding youth leadership in congregation.

we have already received, so the leadership team of this church humbly comes to you with
grateful hearts for your guidance pairing us with a strong, dedicated leader that will continue
to strengthen our faith, grow our congregation and share your love with others. Amen
