I. Call to Order/Attendance – Terri, Laurie, Elaine, Kim, Beth, Janel and Kendra. Meeting commenced at 6:06pm.

III. Administration
A. Approve Minutes – Approve minutes of last meeting. Laurie motioned, Beth seconded to approve the April 8, 2025, minutes. Passed unanimously.
B. Treasurer’s Report – Approve the treasurer’s report for April. Beth motioned, Kim seconded to approve the report. Passed unanimously.
Laurie made a motion to transfer $8,000 from General Fund to the CD for Property Contingency fund. Kim seconded. Passed unanimously.

A. SAM Updates – June 8th Mike will give a presentation on the Bob and Betty Thumma school. Beth mentioned that Judy might like to be at that presentation.
Deb said her retreat was good, was about baptism.
B. ELCA Pulse Survey – Worked through questions on the pulse survey together.
C. Building Insurance – Terri
Church Mutual policy premium will increase 25% or more to $8,404.00
Current policy expires on 7/1/25 at 12:01am
D. Church Day at Cedar County Fair
Thursday July 10th. Do we want to participate?
Who wants to lead organizing our table/volunteers/giveaways?
Endowment Committee may want to be involved
E. Prayer for a new pastor –
Prayer request from Judi Hein for us to do weekly in bulletin and on screen.
Dear Lord, we read in the Eleventh Chapter of Mark, verse 24 that we should pray believing we have already received, so this congregation humbly comes to you with grateful hearts for your guidance pairing us with a strong, dedicated leader that will continue to strengthen our faith, grow our congregation and share your love with others.
Lord in your mercy, Hear our prayer.

Construction is looking at the doors to fix them, so they operate better.
Would like to have the threshold for the back door to be left out.
