Community Involvement

Trinity is involved in the community in a number of ways. Since 2011, Trinity has organized and sponsored the BackPack Buddy program for Tipton and Bennett schoolkids in need of food for the weekends during the school year.

In 2016, Trinity first participated in the ELCA’s “God’s Work. Our Hands.” Sunday by cleaning up trash along highway 130, singing hymns with residents at Cedar Manor nursing home, and making thank-you cards for local first responders.

Trinity was involved in helping raise funds for a gal from Liberia in need of life changing surgery. Christine Thinking along with family came and spoke of success of her surgeries. They also introduced us to the struggles seen in everyday life in Liberia.
