Children & Youth

Children and youth are an important part of our community, so we work hard to include them. In worship, we made a space where kids can sit comfortably, see what’s going on, and participate in age-appropriate ways. Pastor Beth shares a special children’s message with kids every week during worship.

Faith formation for kids aged 3 through High School happens on Wednesdays from 5:30-7. SALT, or Serving And Learning Together, includes a light meal from 5:30-6 and age-group break-out lessons from 6-7.

Confirmation, for 5th-8th graders, meets throughout the school year.  Together with Pastor Beth and their parents, the students learn about the Bible, God, and what makes the Lutheran church unique. We also work to help kids connect their faith with their daily lives. At Trinity, youth who have completed confirmation classes are confirmed in October of their 9th grade year.

Our High School Youth Group meets monthly. Past activities include movie nights, Bible studies, volunteering, and bonfires. Life is complicated, and we believe it’s important to make connections with high schoolers, their parents, church, and God.
